The Team
JOE
Joe lives in Bedford with his wife and four children and has a wide range of experience as a general builder. He is passionate about providing a great customer service experience, good communication and ensuring jobs run smoothly. His main interests are in sustainable construction methods, structural work and brickwork.
JAMES
James is married and lives locally to Bedford. While also involved in general building work, James’ passion and main interest is in carpentry and design. He has a wide range of experience varying from timber frame construction and roofing through to hand-crafted, bespoke kitchens.

Joe and James came round to measure up the existing doors, walked me through the options that I could choose from and helped me select the right ones for my apartment. He also confirmed that additional work would be required due to the new doors having less thickness and I was happy with this . He confirmed the work to be undertaken and the total cost of the work which was at price that I was happy with. He contacted me a day before the work started and turned up on time the next day. The two new doors had top be cut in order to fit the door frame and were done so with a very good fit to the door frame and perfectly level. The cupboard doors were also changed, slightly changing the height of one door so that it was in level with the other. All in all, very happy with all the work undertaken by two very nice guys who did a really good job. “

Charles Lewis Construction recently completed works for me, including the replacement of internal doors and the building of a bespoke unit in the alcove in my lounge. I am absolutely thrilled with the results- and particularly the attention to detail eg lovely mouldings on the cupboard doors and surrounds.
